Protect, Preserve, Defend

"I, Matthew John Worner, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

I raised my right hand and swore the above oath in July of 1966, just short of a half century ago.  Aside from the part about obeying orders it is essentially the same oath sworn by our congressmen every two years.  To swear an oath, and then break it is defined as betrayal, being the act of a traitor.  Interesting that it takes a rule change to make our congresscritters adhere to the constitution that that they have sworn to uphold.  Let's hope that the century and more old habit of betrayal ends before it causes the kind of street rioting breeding in Europe.

Incidentally, that oath that I and every man and woman in uniform swore has never expired.  Note also that enemies referred to are both "foreign and domestic".

It is long past time to eject the traitors who refuse to adhere to the Constitution.  We owe it to our grandchildren to stop the ballooning  indebtedness (currently over $400,000.00 per citizen) they incur and hold those incurring it accountable.  First step is to remind them that they produce NOTHING of value to the economy, certainly nothing to make them worthy of a paycheck exceeding that of the average American worker by four times.  The only thing the American Congress has ever created is an oligarchic bureaucracy that stifles the creativity and energy of a vibrant populous, converting producers into government financed slaves; slaves who vote their masters into cushy jobs where they manage to walk away with millions more than even their bloated salaries would suggest they could ever save.  Currently the various levels of government steal about 45% of the fruits of the labour of the people they ostensibly serve; mostly by virtue of the unconstitutional income tax supposedly passed by the sixteenth amendment to the Constitution and sold on the premise that it would only f..k the rich.  Instead it has become the fiduciary underpinning of a bureaucratic nightmare combined with a wealth redistribution scheme designed to buy votes and stifle the working class while the lazy drones feast on bread and circuses.  Circuses tubed right into their own (tax financed) living rooms, complete with Goebbelsesque propaganda posing as news, saving them having to go out in the cold with those foolish workers.

Just think, Congresscritter,   when you got them stuffing the paper in their shoes to keep their feet warm, they probably won't read about what you are up to.
